Founded in 2020 by Artur Steffen and Martin Huber, the company is working on an industrial revolution to make additive manufacturing competitive with mass production in terms of automation and scale without losing the clear benefits of 3D printing: flexible and individualized production on demand, resulting in less waste. iFactory3D has developed the mass market proprietary belt printer technology for automated batch production and long objects. This technology operates by printing at angles of 30 and 45 degrees and utilizes a conveyor belt as the building surface. The belt technology enables the production of reliable, high-quality parts that are fully automated and can be printed at infinite lengths, achieving faster production.
