Afropus

Afropus is an African-led scholarly index designed to make African research more discoverable, accessible, and connected to the global academic community. The platform helps researchers, libraries, publishers, and institutions discover African academic journals, research papers, authors, and institutions through a unified index built around published evaluation criteria and independent oversight. By prioritising African scholarship and promoting transparent indexing standards, Afropus aims to improve the visibility of African scholars, strengthen research discovery, and ensure that valuable academic contributions from across the continent are easier to find, reference, and connect with the wider scholarly ecosystem.
